The
Cleveland Area Alumni Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) was founded in January 2008 to provide educational and
networking opportunities to BGS members living in the Cleveland area. We are the first alumni chapter of
Beta Gamma Sigma in Ohio and the 20th alumni chapter in the world.
There are thousands of BGS members residing in Northeast Ohio who work at a variety of prestigious corporations,
hospitals, law firms, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and non-profits including Ernst & Young,
Medical Mutual, Colliers OM, Novelis, Key Bank, Sherwin Williams, Alcoa, and the Cleveland Clinic.
We have 9,300 BGS members within easy driving distance from Cleveland.
Since January 2008, we have held several educational and networking events.
The first educational event featured Peter Ditchman, Chief Strategy and Corporate Services Officer of the
DiGeronimo Companies, who delivered an engaging speech on building and revitalizing organizations.
Our second educational event took place in September 2008 when Dr. John Thornton of KSU
offered an expert summary on the "Mysteries of the Credit Crisis."
