Kari Mirkin recently earned her Master's of Nonprofit Organizations at Case Western Reserve University's Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations and is a 2006 graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors in History and German. She works as a program assistant at the Foundation Center-Cleveland and is a steering committee member and co-founder of Young Nonprofit Professionals Network-Cleveland. In addition to serving on the publicity committee, Kari is the Press Secretary of the Cleveland Area Alumni Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma.
